Sylar Appreciation Thread, [The man in Blood]

1.10 - Six Months Ago
Gabriel Gray (Sylar): (Listens to watch) The self winding coil is loose your watch is running 2 seconds slow.
Chandra Suresh: How did you know?
Gabriel Gray (Sylar): Just a talent I have for the way things work, how the parts should go.

Sylar: When I was a kid, I used to wish some stranger would come and tell me my family wasn't really my family. Oh, they weren't bad people. They were just...insignificant. And I wanted to be different. Special. I wanted to change. A new name, a new life. The watchmaker's son became a watchmaker. It is so... futile. And I wanted to be important.

Sylar: You’re broken.

1.11 - Fallout
Sylar: How can you stop what's coming?
(Peter turns around to see Sylar sitting where Nathan was)
Sylar: When you don't know anything about power?

Sylar: I can see how things work. What makes them... tick.
Mr. Bennet: We're interested in how things work as well. Everyone else we've ... met has had only one ability. You've taken on several.
Sylar: I guess that's what makes me special.
Mr. Bennet: That's important to you, isn't it? Being special.
Sylar: It's important to everyone.

Sylar: My name is SYLAR!

1.15 - Run!
Sylar: I had a kind of epiphany about it this morning. Are you familiar with Abraham Maslow, the peak experience? It's, um ... A single moment that takes you out of yourself. Makes you feel very tiny or very large. To some extent, one with life or nature or God. Like seeing all the pieces of a puzzle fit together. All this time, I was trying to fight it. Deny it. But there is no shame in having this ability, is there?

Sylar: then I discovered something. A kind of peace. A sense of purpose that can only be described as destiny.


1.16 - Unexpected
Dale: Funny, I didn't hear your footsteps.
Sylar: That's because there weren't any.
Dale: That sound, in your heart. What is it?
Sylar: Murder.

1.18 - Parasite
Sylar: You have no idea how alone I used to feel. How insignificant.

Sylar: (quietly) And what about me? Don't I deserve to be saved? Aren't I just ... a victim too? I didn't ask for this.
Mohinder: And what would you have me do?
Sylar: Help find a way. Give me salvation. (growls) Give me that damn list so I can sink my teeth in!

Sylar: I'm a natural progression of the species. Evolution is a part of nature and nature kills. Simple, right?
Mohinder: What you've done isn't evolution, it's murder. What I am doing — is revenge.

Sylar: I wasn't begging for my life. I was offering you yours.

Sylar: I remember you... You're like me aren't you? I'd like to see how that works.
1.21 - The Hard Part
Sylar: this is usually the part where people start screaming

Sylar: I understood it before -- the killing. I had a reason. To take what others didn't deserve. It was natural selection.

Sylar: They mean nothing. They're innocent. There's no gain, so why would I do it? What possible reason could I have for killing so many?

Sylar: maybe I don't have to be special. That's okay to just be a normal watchmaker. Can't you just tell me that's enough?

Sylar: I am meant to be special

1.23 - How to Stop an Exploding Man
Sylar: (scoffs) Please. What would I want with your brain?

Sylar: I'm the hero
